If the government had any interest in finding an off-ramp that would allow them to ditch their Science Centre plan with any dignity, pretending they're doing it to honour Moriyama's memory would be a good one. It'll just make the whole thing more shameful when they abandon that building.

In the meantime, this article has some other nice examples of his local work, including AY Jackson Secondary School in North York and L'Amoreaux Collegiate, in Scarborough.

He made significant contributions to Modernist architecture in the city, together with the likes of John B. Parkin, Peter Dickinson, Eb Zeidler, Uno Prii, and Jack Diamond. My sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues. May he rest in piece.

Doug Ford is in the process of demolishing himself instead. He'll be sitting in his underwear yelling at the TV by the time anything is built at OP. The building is safe I think.
