Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

If someone was driving in the city for the first time I can see how it could get confusing especially since alot of the streets where streetcars operate are mixed.
 
But it happens all the time, and not just on Queen's Quay. The other day I watched three cars in a row drive down the ROW on Fleet. They can't all be driving in the city for the first time.

Accidentally came across this intersection in Southport, Australia on Google Street View. Colorcoding the road surface is probably the best the city can do without dramatic investment:

I have made the recommendation that the intersections ROW be painted "RED" just like it shown above. Using the yellow crossing is a good idea for "ALL" TTC intersection to show drivers where not to stop or use.

good idea now all we need is for the TTC and the city to actually do it. I wonder what the chances are thath we might see it with the Crosstown first, or use the streetcar rights of way as a test for it for the crosstown.
