I would imagine the building have the highest open air balconies in the Canada...curious as to where it stands in the world in that regard.

A Canadian military plane encircles the downtown core several times this afternoon. One Bloor East and Aura appear prominently in the pictures I took of the plane in flight, so I thought I would post them...

I had to get a new modem from Rogers in the old Uptown theatre lobby. While I was waiting for them to open at 10 I looked up and saw some balcony glass going in. It's not a great shot, I used zoom on my iPhone 5, but to my eyes it looks just the same as the glass below in the podium, a foggy type glass. A few panels can also be seen in much better photographs on the previous page if you look closely.

Saturday was Canadian Forces Appreciation Day at BMO Field for the TFC game. The plane did a flyover during the opening ceremony.
I don't know why it was there Monday though...

I am looking forward to more balcony glass as it seems many of us are. I hope they will move to the balcony glass soon after topping off and finishing the building envelope, no doubt that is the priority.
