No one in my party seeing this park for the first time were impress by what they saw other than the water display and the seating area. They even laugh when I told them why the Teahouse was removed and said, "Guess someone gave Second Cup a blank check to stop competition for them"

The kids seem to love it as with many adults but to each its own. What would have your friends preferred over what's there now. What would they have done differently? Why was the Tea House concept abandoned? Your friend's flippant remark suggests collusion and illegal activity.

I would agree, Jason....we were here the other night, there were lots of people, kids playing soccer, people walking their dogs, I thought it was great...

Aww, that sculpture's not having a vewwy good day! Ever! Will it get a companion piece that is enjoying its time a little more?

I think Mississauga is a great example of the difference between intensification and urbanization. Building more tall condos doesn't make a place urban. Mississauga is doing a good job intensifying, but I don't think it is becoming urban.

Same with Markham. Lots of positive development and intensification, but it isn't becoming more urban.

Cool. So this will be installed on Daniels' own parcel to the north of this park where their sales centre is under construction, I imagine to the west side of the site. Non-profit is good.
