If they'd use brick with perhaps some splashes of colour instead of that grey spandrel glass it would've looked better. Quite awful.

Brick is far less expansive and therefore far more expensive than spandrel. It also requires additional trades and site coordination.

Great vantage point. You can see The Madison rising to the right as well.
Won't be long until we see the pair of towers rising at Redpath as well, not to mention E Condos.

Those are beautiful shots Interchange42 but unfortunately I can't see any of Roundabout's 5 pics but just a blank screen with the Imagine Name/Number, Views, and pic size................is this happening to anyone else?

I see the podium of this project to be one of the least offensive uses of spandrel glass in recent memory, to be honest. I can't speak to what the tower's treatment will be like, but the balconies and the inset nature of the podium elevations keeps it looking tidy.
