50 shades of grey, a shame since the shape of the floor plates/balconies is really interesting. Why are people so scared of colour.
Do you think 20-30 years down the line when (if) we have better taste, we can amend this situation by coloring all that sprandel?

I know many thought the same of the commie block buildings of post-socialist Europe, but now those buildings are painted in all manner of colors. It won't be as simple as applying paint, but I would welcome some similar initiative here.
 
Maybe eventually but I imagine it won't be for a long time. I think the grey and pale blue glass of this decade is still a lot better than the concrete brutalist commie slabs of the 60's and 70's. I just hope that in the coming decades we go back to more colourful glazing like we saw in the late 80's and early 90's. Seems like there is already a switch to black and white cladding, which atleast offers high contrast and is fairly timeless.
