- although it's probably somewhere in this thread, did not realize that the developer is NYC based
- they have exclusivity (i.e. no other hotels on exhibition grounds) for 15 years
- city gets rent and a share of the hotel revenue....
- the hotel is pretty loaded with sports and entertainment facilities

Too bad the architecture is the way it is.....

This is horrible and it's so prominent from the neighbourhoods just north of here like Liberty Village and Queen west. It's proportions are very unfortunate. Shame on the Exhibition board members for allowing this to go up.

You know, darlings, I haven't had the desire to post anythin on UT for the longest time. Maybe too busy. Maybe too disheartened with some of the developments taking place in this fair city these days. That said, feel that I must opine here. The only worse development in Toronto than this would be 10 Dundas E. This is the most shameful development - the X didn't need any highrise at all. Shame on the Board.
