^^^ was just thinking the exact same thing... amazing that particular corner has gone overlooked for so long! when it finally gets developed I'd love to see a curved face looking out to the intersection.
 
Word on the interwebz is that it's owned by the hospital right south of there. They might be holding on to it in case they want to expand?

But I'm not sure--I think last time I walked past that hospital it was shuttered...
 
I'm pleasantly surprised by the elongated rectangular floor plate of Casa II. Combined with its height and the fritted balconies, it's nice that it has some unique qualities over first one. Also, I never noticed the mismatched floor height that is the last level of fritted cladding in my photo below:

I think they are at 46 floors now probably. Expect this to be topped out in a couple months.
 
Great shot Benito! I love how the balconies of CasaII and the original half of 66 Isabella seem to intertwine.
