Saw an excavator getting unloaded in the morning and there's now a construction office trailer on site as well.

No shoring has started on this site as they are currently installing new sewer and waterlines, as well the new road.

I think the reason there aren't many updates for this stems from the lack of construction visibility from where most people would see it. Unless one makes the effort to check out the site, very few people are going to notice any progress. This stretch of Sheppard doesn't attract many pedestrians and those passing by in cars or on the bus would have a difficult time seeing what's happening. What's being constructed now is set back from Sheppard quite a bit and the hoarding and trees limit the view from the street. I pass by here several times a week and I just noticed the cranes up. Once it reaches a couple storeys above grade then there should be more attention as we can see where they're at as we're passing by.

And like Aristo, I don't think there's very much excitement for what's coming.
