Cababgetown is on the periphery of our vast downtown. It also packs in more population density than you would believe. I'll take charm over some odd obsession with endless skyscrapers with population densities of the developing world covering most of our vast downtown.
 
It is downtown. We don't need more low rise neighbourhood no matter how charming they can be.
I don't like st Jamestown but a Cabbagetown is not the only alternative, nor is it ideal for the location.

You know you got it wrong when even UrbanToronto members are disagreeing with you.

Man, those buildings are close together. Is this unprecedented in the city? I can't think of any residential towers that close to one another.
 
none, nothing on site either.

Actually, there is some on the lower floors. It's just packed and sitting there waiting for installation. The second floor already has the edge of the slab prepared for installation (Hard to see from the ground, as the podium slab completely hides it). I'll get pics as soon as I see it go up!
