Wow! Great job, Dan....looks very good, although there have been a few revisions in floor count & height for some of the projects...Success Tower, Casa, and X are all taller, I believe...

The Star Tower (Beyond the Sea) is beyond the proposal stage - I believe it is near to being sold out, and may in fact be under construction, along with the first two towers....

Must have taken you many, many hours...

I updated Star (still thinking it hasn't been approved yet), modified X and casa's floor count and X's height based on skyscraperpage. I cant find the new height for Success still. Thanks.

Yes, great job Dan. There's some conflicting information out there on some floor counts and heights not to mention phantom heights (Success/BSN etc.). It's a big job to keep up with a project such as this!

When I started the original 400 ft list a few years ago (and a giant thanks to DaninToronto for giving the list a badly needed update) I used 400 ft as the arbitrary cutoff for a number of reasons:

• On international forums such as skyscrapercity.com and skyscraperpage.com, 500 ft was seen as the arbitrary cutoff between a skyscraper and a highrise
• At the time Toronto had only 12 or so project that would have met a 500 ft cutoff. As such, to include numerous other projects I extended it to include projects that were at least 400 ft.
• Using feet versus metres when talking about building height is just one of those holdovers of the imperial system. Perhaps a 1,000 foot building just sounds more imposing than one that 300+ metres.

I can add all the heights in metres as well, but just haven't had the time to convert them all, when I figure most people who are interested in knowing can convert themselves. I kept the list much like Canuck's because it seemed to be well received and it was manageable. To do constant construction updates on buildings shorter than 400 ft. would become an immense task.

Danintoronto do you think you could update the list every 2/3 months with construction updates and also moving buildings like bay adelaide, RBC, Telus (soon) and luna vista to the completed section just to keep it up to date because i remeber canuck never had the time to update it.

Indeed it is a lot of work. I did a good job keeping it fresh for a couple of years or so, but the explosion of proposals last year + large life changes for me = a far outdated list.

It's a good problem to have for skyscraper fans in Toronto - lots of projects on the go. A bit of a trouble for those who want to organize the information.

I always thought you did a great job which is why I carried on with your design because it worked and I think everyone is used to it.

Buildup, I will try and make as many changes as possible to the list to keep it up to date. I'm watching Bay-Adelaide as it is the closest to completion. RBC I think will begin occupancy in July or so so it will move soon. I don't get to every thread and project so if I miss anything I appreciate people letting me know. I will try and add the heights in metres when I get the chance. I do it in my free time, which isn't much.
