I like it? Cmon, it's not like Frank Gehry is designing anything in Scarborough any time soon. Lets be happy that whoever designed it wanted to make it at least a little fancy.
 
it's ugly, a hulking mass, uses 3/4 of the site for surface parking, has essentially no ground related interaction with the street, has no podium likely creating wind issues, has major servicing and site plan issues.... I could go on. This thing is what NOT to do.
 
I would join in with the criticism, because anything pagoda style reminds me of Chinese which I now dislike because of prosperity. How much do you want a redesign?

They could probably dismantle parts of that soon-to-be-vacated nearby Yellow Pages building to build this one, get a couple of turrets out of it.

Dear lord. Don't do this to Malvern. We shouldn't be building high-rises in area if we cant have quality designs, better thought is needed as these are the landmarks that will define an area for decades to come.
