Don't let the name fool you, this site in up in NYCC @ Yonge & Churchill (north of Sheppard), this project being named The St. George to recognize the property (St. George's Angican Church) on which is it being built on ... as part of the deal, Diamante is reconstructing / replacing the old church while getting residential developement rights over the western portion of the site

The zoning approval was put in place back in 2007, see City of Planning staff report (including Site Plan & Elevations):

Now that Diamante has taken over the residential project, I wonder if they are going to switch architects (originally Zeidler) or seek additional building height permissions (original at 25 storeys)
 
Is there a list of all the projects planned or going up in North York? I know about Hullmark Centre, Gibson Square and Emerald Park but there are evidently others.

The first phase is well underway with the new church being built first. Construction got undeway in the fall of 2010 when the old was torn down to allow the relocation of it. Have been a sub to them over the years. You would be surpised on some of the names I have come upond for GCs and subs over the years.
