I think the point is that whether it's deserved or not some continue to diss the man despite the apparent success of 1 King.
Of course, if you measure success by the fact a building continues to stand, and that someone has decorated an unsold penthouse nicely, then hey - the guy is a genius.
On the other hand, the penthouse isn't worth $6 million or it would have sold by now, and the financial success or failure of the 1 King business model is as yet un-proven.
I'll reserve judgement on that for a year or two when we'll have a better indication of whether investors are getting a return on that investment, or whether the concept is flawed.
Only then can 1 King be deemed a total success.
