Bay Adelaide Centre West Tower (Brookfield, 50s, WZMH)

A couple more screenshots from today. The first is a zoom on the core -- it sure looks like the steel framework is attached to the tie posts:

The second is a tight zoom on the top of the pouring frame:

How will the crane be dismantled when the tower tops out?

You naughty, naughty boy!

PS I think they'll use the Trump crane to lift this one down, and then the Trump crane will stay up there, weathervaning in the hot air forever.

The so call steel for the tower is part of the slip form.

From my experience, the core of the tower has to be between 6-10 floors before the steel erections begins. Once the steel erection has started, the tower crane has to be use for both the steel erection as well working on the core.

Main Columns anchor bolts and support for false wall of old building. Anchor bolts are smaller and less of them from buildings I have seen in the past.

You just wanted to be able to say steel erection....admit it.
