I agree, this is looking very classy indeed, and what a pleasant change to see brick construction rather than all glass!

^Except it's not brick... Precast concrete panels with a brick imprint and coloured to look like the real thing.
Still good-looking though, and probably the next trend in Toronto condos as all glass is too energy inefficient.

The colour of the brick pre-cast faux thingy panels is very similar to what is being used on The Modern, as well as the glass colour.

in 25 years, once the brick has aged, we'd all wish that they had chosen a different colour.
for refence, look towards the dark coloured circa 1970 rental apartment buildings that are plagueing the city today. There is a reason why many of them have now been reclothed in grey metal sideing.
