I was walking by on Sunday and can't believe the impact the podium has on the street. Somebody mentioned this before and I totally agree.
For what its worth, I took some pics..'cause there never can be too much:
I also asked a friend what is the separation distance between RBC and Ritz, and was told it was minimal. After seeing it in person, I don't think its too bad, but it will still be a narrow corridor. Does anyone know if this will be a walkway?

I believe it's the driveway to the underground parking. Not sure if it's shared for both buildings or just RC.

I was by there today on the way to the airshow and took some shots (pretty much the same as above) so I won't bother posting them. I have to agree, the massing is huge. It's the first time I've been down there this year and I was really taken aback by how large this project is. I'm thinking the Ritz will balance this area off a bit, RBC on top of that podium from Wellington Street is extremely overwhelming.

the top of this building is really spectacular, it looks like a huge multicolored spacecraft, almost alive, the above image really doesnt do it justice.
