A good review of Kaiju, which appears to be the only restaurant in the food court right now (though correct me if I'm wrong). http://www.blogto.com/restaurants/kaiju-toronto

That place really is good. Every time I go there, the food court is almost always empty, which is sad because this place is reasonably priced and their Korean food is so good. I hope things pick up and this place stays in business.

A couple of iPhone snaps of Aura and the skyline taken Saturday from the Leslie Street Spit a.k.a. Tommy Thompson Park:

And this taken at sunrise October 19, 2014:

Nearby buildings would only need to be as high as the boxy section of Aura to improve the aesthetics.
Yes, sort of like making it wear a skirt! However, it really would be like putting lipstick on a pig - Aura looks OK - or even quite good from some vantage points - at the top but ghastly at street level (and the less said about the poor sad 'mall' part the better!)

From yesterday evening:

This one's a bit wavy as the phone was in Pano mode.

There is a mall part?

And she is off. The last piece of canopy was taken down between 9pm-3am last night, and being right beside it (with the window open), it sounded like an explosion which scared the hell out of me.
