I didn't know this exsisted until 26 years later, because I am still living in the same neighbourhood. I didn't know until know of the details that I lived so closed to an abandon munitions factory, but now the truth is uncovered and how many would go there just to explore the ruins. The area around GECO is fully developed till this day and that some of the underground tunnels are still intact, so good for urban exploring.

Fascinating link, thank you. It's wonderful how all those interested in GECO have put their research and photos online.

Orientation

I bought my TV here. Its now a Best Buy location if I read the map correctly.

Actually not quite there, but you are in the right ballpark. The GECO was actually on the Southwest Corner of Sinnot Rd. and Eglinton Rd.

Here is a Google Map aerial view of area now that is completely developed, but I'm sure there are entrances down into the tunnels.

The Red X's show something was there before but was razed and nothing was built there to replace that empty spot.

That map messed me up for a minute. I was about to post that there were also munitions factories on the east side of Warden, not realizing that the map has east and west reversed.

I remember going to a banquet at Embers and somebody pointed at a trap door in the dance floor and told me that it led to the old tunnels. I'm not sure if that's actually true, but it seemed cool enough at the time that I'd remembered that little detail ever since.
