That's pretty amazing. Will they build a new basement/foundation for the heritage building at its new location, or just plonk it down on the ground as is?

I would think it needs a footing...or else it would fall apart during winter.

House moving takes place on Saturday August 13. Road is closed at 8AM with the move to follow.

Wait...are you also forgetting that the house is coming back to the site after the basement levels are poured? It's being placed beside the other heritage house in the bottom right hand corner of the site in this pic:
