There is a very interesting house at 1015 Mt Pleasant (a few blocks north of Eglinton) that recently underwent a bit of a transformation. It was always the cool kid on the block, but like all cool kids, it had to change with the times. I have done a quick bit of searching but can't find much information about the makeover.

Google Street View's time machine feature makes this so much easier.

I've definitely noticed this house and I like it. However, I do find it a bit strange that the windows have that white covering with holes in it.

Design is very interesting. It looks like it's always had a front parking pad in addition to a driveway. I wonder how the interior of the house looks like.

I would call that much improved!
As someone in the custom residential game, I'd love to know who designed and built that remodel. I don't recognise the architect by their work here.

The old house seemed to fit in better with its surroundings, though that I-beam sticking out of it was bizarre. I liked it better than this sterile mass. The tree is gone, giving the house a stark appearance that detracts from the streetscape.
