I'm thinking they might be putting the addition in where that square north of the skating rink is.

Sadly, the mullions are a lot more visible than what's being show in the rendering. It's not quite TTC Spadina Extension new stations bad, but it's not great either.

I love how they managed to make the stained precast panels on the podium look "classy".

Are the new Spadina line stations very ugly or something? I thought they looked great in the renderings mostly, but I haven't seen them in person.
 
The most striking change in my opinion is the extension of some office floors into the atrium, shrinking the latter in the process.

They aren't ugly at all - but the comment is specific to how the glazing at the stations are handled - i.e. really not delicately.

Did they? The atrium at College Park is never that generous to start off with (it isn't The Atrium)

That last picture is such an accurate picture of Canadian construction workers. One does the work while one supervises, and another who supervises the supervisor.
