No, there was no thread for this one yet. This building was one of the many that were approved at the marathon August City Council meeting.
This is a tower-in-the-park infill that will still leave a lot of park—in fact a real one in this case one called Knob Hill Park, which has one of the Highland Creek tributaries running through it. This site, a couple blocks north of Eglinton Avenue, is not going to be changed from suburban into urban with just the one new building, (there are three existing Y-shaped towers next to it) as the area is quite thoroughly low-rise with curving crescents beyond the main streets, but that'll just never happen out here anyway. Still, this is a good intensification on the site.
The project is an Options for Homes one, which looks like it's a Graziani + Corazza design, but I don't know that for a fact.
Advertisements for this project have been on subway trains I'd say for about a month now with comparison to i believe another condo project happening near danforth and main. ill snap a photo of the add next time.. OfH doesn't do flashy big budget advertising so good pointing it out for not having a thread.
