I am looking to buy a 1bdrm + den (550sq ft or bigger) place at either Bathurst & Lakeshore or Liberty Village.
300k is my budget.
Many people have told me told me that Fort York area isn't good from a social aspect. A lack of shops, markets and entertainment make it very dull, however Liberty Village is great in all these respects.
However with Liberty village, there is a transportation bottle neck with the King St. line into the financial district.
Where would you guys go and why? Any major issues with either area?
