Toronto Centre by-election

I'm glad I live in Toronto Centre. McQuaig's more my style and most likely has my vote, but I do hope that Freeland has a future in Canadian politics as well even if she doesn't win the election.

For comparison's sake, here's Freeland talking about inequality:

One nice thing is that downtown Toronto is going to be getting one more seat in 2015. And Rosedale will be gone from TC. So they may both end up in Parliament.

There's an obvious HUGE knowledge and fact/real world experience gap between Freeland and McQuaid.

McQuaid is full of platitudes compared to the much more experienced and fact based Freeland.

Although some of the ideas of McQuaid do make sense (inheritence tax), the reality is that governments at every level and every stripe have shown how poorly they manage tax dollars.

Are you serious? Freeland's book is far more "gossipy" than McQuaig's.

If you live in Toronto Central, please read this post. (See the map of Toronto Central District here: http://www.elections.ca/scripts/pss/PopUpWindows.asp?ED=35093 )

I am writing this on behalf of the Online Party of Canada (OPC), which is one of the 18 federally registered parties.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Elections Canada requires that any Candidate who wants to run in the November 25th By-Elections obtains APPROVAL from 100 Voters who live in the District.

This is NOT A VOTE! You can still vote for the Candidate you want. We just want to be allowed to enter a Candidate in the race.

I am asking you to kindly provide your approval and we hope you will read about our party online (at http://onlineparty.ca http://www.onlineparty.ca/blog/about ) and you will like what we stand for.

It would be greatly appreciated if you would add your signature to to this document ******** https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sT...rbyuBjHC2fWvUpm1m452h5gkt4kN/edit?usp=sharing ********* in support of nominating an OPC Candidate, by Monday (Nov. 4, '13). Please either (1) sign this document and then scan or take a photo of the signed document and e-mail it to contact@onlineparty.ca , or (2) email us your name and address and we will take the document to your home for signature.

Is this off topic? I do not understand how this is related to the topic in any way.

It's a political party wanting to run a candidate in the Toronto Centre by-election? That sounds pretty related to me, but then I'd think a worthwhile candidate would know the name of the riding, at a minimum.
