This is a brownfield business condo redevelopment proposal southeast of Eglinton and Laird at 195 through 209 Wicksteed Avenue in the Leaside industrial area, and this merits some attention as it preserves currently disused employment lands for employment. I'm under the impression that that's a bit of a rarity in Toronto now, no? Many brownfield industrial sites get rezoned for retail, sometimes they go residential, and often the just sit fallow. This seems to be an attempt to keep office and warehouse space in the area, and to make the space available on a condominium basis.

Looks good for an industrial park development, though they could have put the surface parking at the back, away from the street. The new sidewalks are a welcome improvement to a place that is severely lacking them on almost every street.

The signage is quite nice, though it might be difficult to differentiate tenants from a distance.
