Music Videos Featuring Toronto

"The River" by The Rankins. Not my kind of music, I only know of the video because the older fellow who appears throughout it is a friend of my family and I used to be good friends with his daughters in my teens & twenty's. He did a lot of commercials & print ads that could be found on Toronto TV & magazines in the late 80's through to the mid 00's, his name was Joe. He did a fair amount of TV & film work too, mostly walk-on bits.

^Stumped me too. Are you sure its even in Toronto?

Here's a rather obscure one. I'm sure many will remember The Partland Brothers hit "Soul City," from their 1986 album "Electric Honey," but here's the other single off that record "One Chance."

Near the end you can see some shots of Scotia Plaza under construction, from atop what appears to be the old parking structure on Temperance Street(?) ...as well as one of the cheesiest stand-up basses I've ever seen!
Ahh, the 80's...

Many thanks to the gang here for answering my question. It was weighing heavily on me. :)

Everyone.. the TV show 'Flashpoint' films all over the downtown area; they were using the Gooderham Building a few weeks ago, for outside and inside scenes. Not 'music video' per se but there you go. :)
