Does anyone know any drop boxes downtown or places you can drop off used clothing to donate?

Don't recall seeing any drop boxes, but any Goodwill or Walue Willage will probably accept your previously enjoyed garb.
Got a fire station near you? The one at Front & Princess has a drop box IIRC, so I'd assume that might be the case across the city.
I do have a fire station around the corner. I'll have to check that out. The downtown area surprisingly doesn't have many places to drop off clothes apparently. I'm not gonna take the TTC to drop off clothes, I'll just throw em in the garbage.
If you go to the new Toronto MLS "Permit Information" site at http://app.toronto.ca/LicenceStatus/...do?action=init and scroll down the listing of licences listed there is CLOTHING DROP BOX LOCATION PERMIT. Not all boxes have permits and I understand that they if they have no permit they are very likely not real charities - personally I take stuff to Goodwill.
Tried putting in my ward, and that option and searching, but it came up with nothing. I think that's trying to find a specific permit, not a bunch of permits within an area.
You might try contacting some churches. A lot of them accept clothing donations for the 'Out of the Cold' programme.
The Canadian Diabetes association picks up donations. See below:
The Canadian Diabetes Association will schedule regular pick-ups of reusable items at your convenience. We have a toll-free number (1-800-505-5525) residents can call anytime to schedule a pick up. We also have drop boxes located in various communities across Canada, where individuals can drop off their used clothing at anytime.
In our new age of austerity, who can afford fake charities?

Aside from the clothes is there any associations or charity that accept working computers? Because we updated our desktop and I don't want to throw it because maybe there are some people that might use it.
Yonge Street Mission.. they have a store that takes in used clothing.
There is a Goodwill on Richmond St. East, just east of Jarvis, on the South side.
There's one at the parking lot behind Zippers in the village. Also one on Queen Street west, on Fennings, I think.
