Not sure what interest, if any, this would be to anyone here - but here's a video I took a couple months ago up at the CP marshalling yards in Scarborough, intermingled with some other foolishness:

Heading back from my latest urban wilderness adventure I took a brief detour down a rail line (which I often do along these trips), which inspired me to convert this old post to a picture thread for all things track-related in and around Toronto - from freight lines to subways to streetcars, modern or historic, whatever:

As per the detour mentioned above, some pics I took along the North Toronto Subdivision of the CP line, between Yonge and MacLennan:

Good spot! I had to turn back just before there when I saw one of those track inspector pick-up trucks coming down the line since I didn't want to be hassled for trespassing.

PS
Do you know when they update the MacLennan pedestrian bridge?
It used to look like this not too long ago:

CN's Newmarket sub is a good walk from Parkdale to Lawrence. In addition to being the oldest line here (I think) there's some good views to be had along the way.

Indeed! I used to walk the Parkdale portion often between Queen and Dundas when I lived out there. Sadly, I never took many pictures, but here's a few:

..the last one was actually taken just south of Rogers Road

Great photos, EVCco. All these railway and subway scenes are familiar, though I'm curious where this photo was taken:

Thanks junctionist! Now, can anyone guess where this was taken?:

Here's a few random shots of the Bala Sub, taken intermittently between Queen and Lawrence:
