Well, I've been praying about it.
Ford campaigned on a Sheppard subway, and Frank has bought land along there near Scarborough, hoping the prices will go up. We're depending on that. Besides, I have to often go out and see my mother out on Rathburn and I hate getting pinched and sliding around on the bus. The tabernacle will be praying for replacement politicians if subways aren't delivered as promised under every major road in this city.
LRT's, sound sneaky, like some kind of medical procedure. Gliding along like snakes on those deceptive tracks of theirs. I've heard that they make hissing noises, and are used in socialist countries.
We shouldn't be shying away from getting shovels in the ground now on a massive project that will guarantee our grandchildren and their children's children will be working damn hard to see completed. They'll be grateful for the work load, and it would bring some character back into this loose country of ours to understand a real obligation. In fact, there's no reason why incorrigibles couldn't be hired to help dig the tunnels.

The Fraud Brothers and Il Duce Giorgio Mammoth Head should read the article. This will make Mr. Mammoth Head wish he continued as a member of the NDP, especially given that a peer-reviewed article published in a reputable academic journal had found a strong correlation between low intelligence and right-wing ideologies. I agree with the results of this journal article, though it is ironic that this article can be shared to Fakebook, the bastion of collective human stupidity.

What if Mayor Ford suddenly gave up the Sheppard subway and pushed hard for the DRL? It would be a subway - and would make for a better conversation.

I think we all agreed DRL should be the priority. I would support the act, not the person - and I think it would be prudent to look very, very carefully at the fine print should that scenario arise.

Josh Matlow is definitely pushing for a DRL, as are a few other members of council. If Ford stops his act and works with council, pushing the proposal forward can probably begin sometime later this year or the next.
