Just some shots I took on a quick trip back in the summer...

Pride Windsor @ Riverside Park along the Detroit River. A super hot day, but sadly there were probably only a few hundred people in attendance. Enjoyable, but a totally different experience than Pride T.O...

Arguably the nicest building in Windsor. This is the original headquarters of Hiram Walker's Canadian Club Whisky. It still houses offices and event spaces for the distillery...

I won't name names, but this brand new Dodge Challenger belongs to two Urban Toronto members who actually live in Windsor...

Walkerville is one of the nicest parts of Windsor and was built around the "garden city" movement. This is actually former Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin's boyhood home which is currently going under extensive renovations.

Windsor-Walkerville VIA Rail Station. Truly, the end of the line.

Hope you enjoyed!

Windsor has a surprisingly good number of walkable neighbourhoods with their own unique characters. I'm thinking of the likes of Sandwichtown, University, Downtown, Walkerville, Ford City, Little Italy, and Ottawa Street. Prado Place is among the most charming residential streets in all of Ontario with its early 20th-century built form, narrow roadway, and heritage street lighting.

There are a few other neighbourhoods that have an interesting built form as well, though they lack a traditional main street retail area. The city also has some interesting parks as well. If I were to do a photo tour, I'd definitely start from the spectacular Riverfront parks, but I'd want to show the neighbourhoods off as well.
