New hotel at VMC, 616 Applewood Cres. What's interesting is that Hilton Garden Inn was supposed to be incorporated in Icona condos, which is in itself a redevelopment of a Hilton Garden Inn. The most logical explanation is that Icona condos no longer has a hotel component.

From PlanIt, Canada's Wonderland is proposing a Hyatt hotel at 2 Canada's Wonderland Drive, in the area bordered by Rutherford Rd to the south, Hwy 400 NB ramp to the West and Canada's Wonderland Dr to the East.

A new application appeared on PlanIt for 4 high rise towers at the south east intersection of Jane and Rutherford (in front of Vaughan Mills, north of Park Avenue Place condos). A public hearing meeting will take place on April 4.

This is currently the site of CBM concrete plant, across the street from Expo City / (future) Cosmos condos. A new application was registered in PlanIt on March 8: "Residential development consisting of 2 residential towers and mixed use".
