    Elizabeth St. Home of the Chinatown Mall ! Does anyone remember a pub that went into that building between Dundas and New City Hall in the mid 80's called "Fosters"? Just by the corner of Foster Pl. Didn't last long, but a great little pub.

    I absolutely remember the pony man. My dad had my photo taken on Montrose sitting on a pony when i was about four years old. Kids would always come running to see the pony man and the knife sharpening man and the ice cream man and the chicken man.

    eventually became cinema lumiere. used to loveto watch fred astaire/ginger rogers marathons there in the 70's. was in there one night when part of the ceiling fell on the seats during rebel without a cause.
