Minto Westside (Minto) - Real Estate -

I own a unit here and it's got a few QC problems. This has led to a dozen issues they needed to fix (and could have been avoided if just taken more care the first time). I'm talking "what was this person thinking" type of errors. Their front of staff are really great. Very kind and will make an...

Whole-heartedly agree. The more I've been paying attention to the design choices, the more I'm left frustrated. I've got a pretty big background in art and the lobby choices and colours behind the pillars are super shit. I actually slapped my head and said "what we're they thinking" seeing those...

Wealthsimple Stadium (Ad Company Geniuses, 0s, Août Poisson Architects)

At the moment, esports isnt like other sports where teams go away to other cities. They usually play in one arena and thats often in LA. Then a final which is often played in a random city. Toronto had League of Legends in 2016 to 15k fans. Don't under estimate the mass appeal for esports. I...

From the Gardiner, the condo looks quite nice too. I'm not too worried about surrounding area. The city changes so fast now.

There were plans for those units and detailed furnishing lists that stated no ovens. I wasn't looking for these sizes so I had to look it up just now in brochure. I lived in smaller in England, but the rent price was right compared to this unit. Whoever got these units got exactly what they wanted.

It's the top 2-3 floors that have 10' ceilings, not just penthouse. It's the contributing factor to why I purchased a unit here instead of Concord's Newton. But looking at the finished product, a bit of regret not to choose Newton over Westside. I wasn't aware they offered units with no ovens...

I can't disagree, but I'll reserve judgement on certain construction aspects. There are other things to complain about that are done, like that colour scheme on the walls behind the pillars. I hope it's backlit like what the concept alludes to, otherwise fire that designer. As for ceiling...

Ya would love to see some news regarding this expansion. Is it being reimagined now that 2 years have lapsed?

The commentary on this forum is laughable. They will fit all the paneling and then take note of which panels need replacing. Check out minto 88 regarding the columns, it's not the finished product. Like damn guys, let them build the building.

Except that this concept was their first concept, but changed pretty early on. I'm not sure why it was changed, they presented it and then had to change it for some reason. This was the concept they ran with for practically their entire sales duration...

Why Montreal rental rates are so lower than rest of the nation?

I'm currently working/living in Montreal. I got a 25% salary increase moving to Quebec, but taxes actually end up giving me less than my salary in Ontario... There's a lot to love and hate about a city, truthfully. I'm personally looking to return to Toronto when my preconstruction condo is...

Stackt Container Market (28 Bathurst St, future park)

Hmm, I get what you're saying, but I'm not sure it could be as eclectic as Kensington. I'm not sure if I'm seeing the same concept as you that fits for the area. As for plumbing, It's almost guaranteed there will be a cafe of some sorta in some of these. Ah well, hope you like it in the end.

It's true people will complain about anything. Perhaps they may still paint? Their original design was all sorts of colours. Maybe they didn't want a space near the train tracks to look like a shipping yard.

Look at concept and the latest pictures posted here. It's following the design exactly, it's just not apparent yet.
