that looks horrendous, especially given the contrast with Monde...ugh shameful

    Toronto Tower at Pier 27 | 114.9m | 35s | Cityzen | a—A

May just be my inexpert eyes but this block feels claustrophobic, especially in contrast to the Canary/RC complex, or even the Monde/Aqua*** blocks.

    Toronto Daniels Waterfront - City of the Arts | 156.05m | 45s | Daniels | RAW Design

they've out done themselves with this development, stunning!

    Toronto Monde | 149.95m | 44s | Great Gulf | Moshe Safdie

When's occupancy? Looks like it's still a few months away from being habitable

River City Condos Phase 3 (UrbanCapital) - Real Estate -

This looks so sweet! I'm just confused about the width of the sitting room kitchen area...how wide is that space? it looks to be about 9' but not sure if that's just the pictures. You have an amazing patio, lots of opportunity for a garden/lounge area there

    Toronto Daniels Waterfront - City of the Arts | 156.05m | 45s | Daniels | RAW Design

It adds to the character of the area for me. Unless they turn that land into a park of sorts, I'd rather it remain than have another wall of condos. The plant will likely move in the medium term however, especially when the area is fairly well developed in a few years and people start...

    Toronto Riverside Square | 64.6m | 20s | Streetcar | RAW Design

What's Phase 2? I thought that the buildings under construction were the entirety of Riverside Square.

    Toronto Aqualina at Bayside | 47.85m | 13s | Tridel | Arquitectonica

Personal taste but that looks like an uninspired hotel lobby. May feel different with people mulling about.

    Toronto Daniels Waterfront - City of the Arts | 156.05m | 45s | Daniels | RAW Design

Does anyone know when occupancy in the office tower is slated to begin? I've heard Spring/Summer 2018...is that still what they're aiming for?

    East Bayfront: Parkside/Bayside/Dockside neighbourhoods Overview

Stunning photos. Wish there could be an annual update of the area from that perspective.

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Toronto is the cave? or this thing? The lack of balconies reduces the attractiveness of the smaller units in this development for me personally.

    Toronto Aqualuna at Bayside | 61.87m | 18s | Tridel | 3XN

*sigh* based on recent sales, looks like the average price per square foot in this area is now well north of $1,000 per square foot. I know this isn't the time or place to discuss that topic but I continue to find it difficult to square this type of escalation. Monde was going for $600/sq ft -...

    Toronto Monde | 149.95m | 44s | Great Gulf | Moshe Safdie

It has been said a 100 times, but can't help it - what a stunning addition to the waterfront. Looks great from a distance and only gets better as you get closer

High Speed Rail: London - Kitchener-Waterloo - Pearson Airport - Toronto

I don't understand this attitude. Ontario has significant experience building highways so it would be pretty obvious, one would think, to not have advisory panels for all highway projects. Ontario does have panels for specific highway projects however, e.g. the GTA West Advisory panel. We have...

    Toronto Monde | 149.95m | 44s | Great Gulf | Moshe Safdie

I really think that it depends on the perspective. From down on the water, the building seems to flow well with Aqualina and the tower design makes sense. From a high elevation, particularly behind the Gardiner, the tower does look a bit strange.

    Toronto Aqualuna at Bayside | 61.87m | 18s | Tridel | 3XN

Agreed - this will sell well, particularly given the suite size and design. Too bad that the suites will likely be in the $700+ range but given how quickly the recent developments sold out (e.g. Daniels - gone in less than a day) and the pace at which prices have risen in this neighbourhood...

    Toronto Sidewalk Toronto at Quayside | ?m | ?s | Sidewalk | Snøhetta

Illustrates the spectrum of idiocy quite nicely.

    Toronto Daniels Waterfront - City of the Arts | 156.05m | 45s | Daniels | RAW Design

Seems a bit strange that the residential towers are still below grade...it's been a year.

The WT news release mentions that Google will be moving its Canadian HQ here. If that's the case, it's pretty huge news and could create a significant arts and tech cluster in the area. We already have Artscape, OCAD and Georgebrown at Daniels. Add in the Waterfront Innovation Centre and Google...

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Units start at $750,000....for 591 sq ft. Floor premiums are $5,000? What sort of market is that trying to target? The rent on that would be at least $3,000 to allow the owner to break even on the purchase.
