Not sure when it happened or if it's been reported here, but I just noticed that the project's official webpage has been updated with a new occupancy date... of 2027... which means... 2030 in reality? lol So I guess they are not planning to start construction in earnest for a little while...

have they actually been doing work here? i see machinery being moved from day to day, but don't feel like there's been any actual progress on the construction? 😅

perhaps try to go directly to the database page in the first link, select the second application dated 18/12/2020, then expand the "supporting documentation" tab, and sort by date to see the most recent filings?

is that a drone shot? what are the legal requirements to fly a drone at this intersection? i'd love to get out and shoot some shots! just always assumed it wouldn't be legal...

how come they didn't have to wait until the weekend to do the pour this time? was it because the last few pours constructed the stage from which they are pouring now?

The reason wasn’t provided in the document posted, hence my question. But the application was for them to start fitting out the hotel lobby interior.

thank you for the information and advice. can you please point me to the posts where the refusal notice was discussed? i was only able to find the posts back in january where the application was first made, but not the city's refusal.

Not sure if this has been shared here before... I did a quick search and didn't find anything... but I just found this "Refusal Notice" on the City's Building Permit Status database... Anyone know what this means?
