    St Clair West

Passed by the CIrcle K on St Clair/Oakwood and it closed permanently on Jan 28 due to constant security issues https://www.blogto.com/eat_drink/2024/01/circle-k-closing-toronto/

    Evocative Images of Lost Toronto

Found this article with badly extracted text that mentioned "Toronto artist Edgar Jastram of Ashley and Ciippen." which probably refers to Ashley & Crippen

Isn't this site only the parking lot beside the dealership?

    Markham Bahá’í National Centre and Temple | 30m | 1s | NSAB Canada | Hariri Pontarini

You're probably looking at the Pushtimargiya Vaishnav Samaj that's almost 2km NW from there, I'm talking about this place:

Offtopic, but it's interesting how many different religious places there are within a 2km radius of Steeles and Bayview There's a synagogue right by a mosque, buddhist, hindu, taoist, and zoroastrian temples, the baha'i centre, tyndale university, brebeuf college, and the bayview glen church...

Miscellany Toronto Photographs: Then and Now

The area around the church could really use a facelift like St James park just south of there. Beautiful building with much needed greenery in the core, but in such a terrible state. I'm guessing the parking lot is a good source of income for them though.

This is the ugliest proposal I've seen in a while

Avenue Road = Most aesthetic street in Toronto?

They should really change the all green to a forward arrow and add a left turn arrow as well to replace all the signs.

    Toronto 155 Antibes | 113.1m | 34s | Tenblock | BDP Quadrangle

Great to see the seas of lawn and parking being slowly built up along this strip of Bathurst. It'd be nice to see some small retail here as well for when the strip malls are gone

Speaking from experience of having lived nearby for a while, no one who buys those condos will care because they travel exclusively by car, and and a lot of the owners don't actually live there

Road Safety & Vision Zero Plan

Maybe not a crazy exotic but the car is an AMG which is the high performance division of Mercedes. The factory standard engine for the c63 AMG puts out 470 hp.

Road Safety & Vision Zero Plan

Ironically there are places where they put up steel beams to stop cars from going into a ravine or parkland like here north of York Mills: Why couldn't they put these barriers on the other side of the sidewalk so they can protect the people too?

Road Safety & Vision Zero Plan

Very similar to the one you posted about a couple of pages back, same corner of that intersection even. It's a bit unnerving how many accidents end up with a vehicle on the sidewalk. I've passed by 3 this year around Yonge and Steeles, in one case it was a TTC bus.

    Fare evasion on the TTC...

To be fair if crapping on the TTC occurred as often as fare evasion, the fine would probably increase

Road Safety & Vision Zero Plan

Is this the accident? Hard to believe that after something like this and the van attack in 2018 there's still no protective barriers there
