    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

That's good to know. I'd like to drop by on a Saturday as it's probably my best chance to get there when they're open.

What are the hours for the food hall? Are they only open M-F for lunch?

    The Future of Bombardier

Referring specifically to the P-8A Poseidon, for instance, surveillance hardware, such as a radar by Raytheon, is largely made by a third party contractor.

    The Future of Bombardier

No, that's not true. The US Army already uses Challenger 650s on its Artemis platform (Aerial Reconnaissance and Targeting Exploitation Multi-Mission Intelligence System) since 2020. It's being deployed in Europe now. Another more recent platform, Ares, uses Bombardier's Global Express 6500. A...

Greyhound Canada may be discontinuing but there will still be cross-border routes to Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver from Greyhound in the US. So, we should still see the Greyhound buses.

Just for for some more clarity. You forget that's 800 million CAD vs 1.6 billion USD. So, really Moynihan cost 2.5 times as much. To be fair, construction at Union had to be worked around a fully active train station, whereas construction at Moynihan was done with a decommissioned postal...

I saw a GO bus on a video coming from eastbound Harbour that turned onto Bay northbound then got onto EB Gardiner ramp.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

The rail overpass just over 100 metres to the east of Leslie would have been a problem. This is the Richmond Hill GO line. Metrolinx had decided at one time that they were going to extend the tunnel until at least Don Mills, maybe even as far as Victoria Park if I remember correctly. Metrolinx...

    Toronto Fairview Mall Redevelopment Phase 1 | 180.2m | 52s | Cadillac Fairview | Hariri Pontarini

HomeSense and Marshalls have a Grand Opening set for Tuesday, March 17 at 8 am at Fairview Mall. I don't know of any special offerings but at least it looks like we'll have a better idea of what's happening to the old Sears space.

I thought they had planned to have the 54 Lawrence bus to go to Laird station before this.

I never thought the height to width ratio was that bad. On the other hand, some of the supertalls that are being built in New York are really thin looking, like the Steinway Tower. https://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?s=2d967cbe7b2105896b7f8a23a4f721fe&t=1496564&page=271 Not to my taste.

Beside STC, they also have locations at Square One, Kensington Market, and soon, the Royal Bank Plaza. It's just part of the globalization trend.

You can't compare Fairview with Yorkdale, the Eaton Centre and STC. Those malls are twice the size of Fairview. The mall is actually very busy on the weekends although it's somewhat quiet on weekdays, just the opposite of the Eaton Centre. As for Eaton's, you may have been thinking of Don Mills...

Muji has multiple mall locations in the GTA, including a two-floor flagship at the Eaton Centre. I'm not sure what "that Japanese store" is, but the Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo also has multiple mall locations throughout the GTA.

Has anybody checked out the new Jakarta MRT? It might not seem extraordinary but it has train speeds of 100 km/hr elevated and 80 km/hr underground according to this video (@ 0::52):

In Japan, there are underground pedestrian shopping streets around train stations and underneath those around Tokyo station, another level down, there is an underground car park that has direct access to the city's expressways. See the video starting at 14:46:

    Toronto Westin Prince Redevelopment | 103.63m | 32s | Haven | BDP Quadrangle

This proposal seems not unlike the 865 York Mills Rd proposal directly across the street that had been turned down by city council just a few years ago. A couple of people on that related thread were very skeptical of the inclusion of the office buildings and hotel, as the real intention was...

Canadian anti-bribery laws are more like a footnote to the possible significance of this story. This is potentially much worse than Watergate.
