    New York & Chicago, for years, as always been running neck & neck. The Willis Tower had trounced over the Twins, then Kuala Lumpur had trounced over the Willis Tower with the Petronas Twin Towers. It'll be interesting to see if Chicago can get back in the thick of it again! ;)

    Rooftop mechanicals

    The Willis Tower, as far as I know, has no rooftop mechanical equipment. All I see are the 2 or 3 tall antenna atop the building. Well, the only thing up there are the window washing scalfolds that work like an elevator.

    The tower has kind of a twisting design to it, almost like the previous design of the Freedom Tower. I hope that the design gets revised and financed again!!

    Here's a newer artist's rending of the building. It was made shorter so that it can be successfully built, but it will still be the tallest-ever man-made structure in the world.

    The Kingdom Tower IS under construction as we speak. It will be less than a kilometer tall so that it can be built. When completed, it will still eclipse & beat every tall building on the planet, including the Burj Kafila Tower. ;)
