Why Las Vegas? Basically every major city in the world illuminates their major office towers and or heritage buildings. Toronto is a joke in this regard. The city is so depressingly dark at night. Imagine how much more alive the core would be with the Royal York, Commerce Court North, Canada...

I'd almost be willing to wager my bank account that they won't be lit up. This is Toronto. We rarely ever light buildings up in this city, especially heritage buildings.

Willows are notorious for losing limbs or being uprooted in storms. Their branches are very fragile. Thankfully they're extremely fast growing trees.

The only thing I dislike about this building is the grey paneling. Had they went with black, this would have looked a lot sharper. Still a beautiful building, regardless.

What happened to the Toronto Heritage Lighting Master Plan? Is that dead? It's pathetic how this city won't even light up something like the Gooderham Building. I don't know why we're so disinterested in our city's appearance.

Oh come on! Most people in the city couldn't tell you who Doris McCarthy is. Who cares? Everyone isn't as interested in art as yourself. And how would his identification of Doris McCarthy prove that he's from Scarborough? Are you really insinuating that he couldn't possibly be from Malvern...
