Anyone know when the damn ramp to the eastbound 401 will be finished? I looked at this http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/traveller/trip/construction_reports-central.shtml so I think it should be done, but I doubt they are ever on time and the last time I saw it looked like a long way to go.

Anyone understand how to fill out this GST193E (10) form? In the newsletter it says that we could get back a certain amount in taxes if we bought the apartment before a certain time. Has anyone done it? I don't want to go through a lawyer since I'm thinking that will offset the refund I get.

Funny how "Keith" joined the forum to give a great review, right after messages about Canadian Condo rebates started turning negative. I got the letter too but not sure what to do with it. Seems like this is a ploy to get a bunch of information from all the unsuspecting condo owners.

The better question is why do the security guards make the same announcement 3x, and every time the make an announcement the alarm comes back on. I must've had to push that damn button over 15x last night.

When can we get pre-approvals for mortgages? I'm guessing the buildings will be registered in the next little while so we will have to get mortgages and pay off the outstanding balance correct? Pre-approvals can last 90 days so can I go about shopping for rates now?

Good idea, or they should have a bulletin board you know with like condo events, buy/sell/trade, or people offering services, etc. Need to start making it feel like a community.

Woke up to 22c? I woke up to 19.5c which is quite cold. I talked to them downstairs at the PDI office, they said they'll look into it.

Heat not working either! This is a pain since during the first month here, the A/C wasn't working either. They should get this stuff sorted out.

Cost to buy one now is $30,000 and though it can be added to the mortgage cost I think that is really expensive. Would prefer to rent if anyone doesn't have a car and an idle parking spot.

We have found a way for now, but it won't be a good long term solution. I pretty much just need to rent someone's garage remote since there are tons of empty spaces right now.
