Toronto Hill And Dale Residences | 27.13m | 6s | Old Stonehenge | Studio JCI

    "looking" like an office building isn't entirely offside! This is true mixed use - retail and restaurant at grade, offices above, and then 14 residences. The residential portion only takes up the top 3 floors;

Toronto Hill And Dale Residences | 27.13m | 6s | Old Stonehenge | Studio JCI

In the spirit of "old and new" I found the reflection off the north glass of 2 Roxborough (Diamante) to be rather interesting. The remaining glass has less reflectivity apparently.

Toronto Hill And Dale Residences | 27.13m | 6s | Old Stonehenge | Studio JCI

yes, indeed! Interior demolition is underway of what John Bentley Mays referred to as a "kind of dumb-looking, three-storey modernist office block from the 1970s..." cracks me up.

    Toronto Cabin | 21.03m | 6s | Curated Properties | RAW Design

The dark material is metal, with a reveal between strips- the idea is to contrast with the wood detailing found around the outdoor spaces.

That's actually quite an old rendering... boy how these progress as the details get fleshed out... Some of the chamfers that really make the front facade 'sing' are a bit more evident in this version.

    311 Brock Ave. (???, 3s)

Ah - yes! Progress. This site was designed as a handsome set of 6 townhomes, by Alan Littlewood. I've always admired the towns he did at Queen and Givins, and my client hired him to put this little project together. In the end the site was sold to another builder, who i believe is building...

    Toronto Crafthouse | ?m | 2s | Orchard Ridge | Symbolics

asiancolossus : thanks for the kind words about Crafthouse! just to note, hst is included in the purchase price of the homes. We include HST in our pricing at all developments, so that it's pretty much upfront what the pricing is. Sorry for any confusion. Minilude : our roofs are actually...

    Toronto Motif Lofts + Townhomes | ?m | 5s | Reserve Properties | RAW Design

I believe this pretty much marks the top of the building - the steel represents the final two penthouse floors. The townhomes are also going up along Rebecca, together with the 4 townhomes on the neighbouring Givins. Starting to shape up!

    Toronto Lanehouse on Bartlett | 11.89m | 3s | Curated Properties | AUDAX

Yes - indeed. An "adaptive reuse" project, or in other parlance a "contemporary intervention". This small development will be called Lanehouse, and is by the same team behind Edition Richmond and Annex Loft Houses on Dupont. Quite a jewel of a property - discretely tucked away on a laneway...

    Toronto Abacus Lofts | ?m | 8s | DAZ | BDP Quadrangle

"5 - 8 ???? are those hours correct?" YES - no typo there! I've never fully understood condo sales centre hours, and on a small project like this we tend to have people stop by on the way home from work, or on their way out for a drink / dinner nearby. Seems to be a much better time than...

    Toronto Abacus Lofts | ?m | 8s | DAZ | BDP Quadrangle

Hello - there's actually "a bit of everything" left, from some compact one bedrooms to larger 1+den, and some 2 bedrooms. Abacus is really a small development - there are only 39 lofts in the building, but there's a good mix of lofts left. And yes, showroom is open thurs+fri 5-8 and weekends.

    Toronto Block Condos | ?m | 4s | Treasure Hill Homes | Richard Wengle

One bit of news: we have a couple of homes remaining, including the "signature" home of a whopping 3700 square feet. But yes Travis, the sales have been very strong. Up to date info on my site: http://pauljohnston.com

    Toronto Abacus Lofts | ?m | 8s | DAZ | BDP Quadrangle

Yes, it is true that pre-sales have been very strong. Having the opportunity to attend a pre-launch event is something virtually anyone can do with any of the projects I represent. Simply register through the project's official website, which is always linked from my website. Everyone who did...
