Don't reply to legitimate questions? Doesn't anyone have a rebuttal to my comments? Certainly you guys should be able to put a low, cro-magnon brow conservative like me in my place?
How am I trolling? The discussion pertains to Ford related events.
I'm sure his cronies advised him to apologize. How do you know no one makes him do things he doesn't do?
What homophobic comment? The one about doing needles and being gay? He was partially right about that, though straight people also get AIDS. The majority of AIDS victims, are...
"Matlow is a consensus builder and refuses to talk bad about the Mayor (or anybody in fact) despite having been given many reasons and opportunities to do so." This is funny. Your logic is that two wrongs make a right? What does getting personal achieve, other than satisfying a vindictive...
What Asian groups? Does that refer to the 260 residents in Adam Vaughan's ward or something else? That hardly constitutes as "Toronto's Asian community." If that's all, that's peanuts compared to the Oriental population in Toronto. It appears the majority weren't offended, otherwise I think...
I wonder if that window will ever be replaced, near the top of Scotia Plaza. Also, FCP looks really clean in that shot as the antennae at the top are hidden from view.
Awesome pictures. Thanks for all the hard work. Personally, I think all the newer signs look like garbage; the font, the layout. I wish the city would use more attractive poles as well. Those metal, hole punched poles are hideous.
"Ford’s mouth has got him in trouble before. In 2008 he angered Toronto’s Asian community after telling council “Oriental people work like dogs.”
I love how The Star makes claims on behalf of others. It seems to me that this particular comment angered white liberals more than it did Oriental...
How are they bastards? They had legal right to demolish the building. It's the city's fault for not getting a heritage designation for it a long time ago.
I'm with you. I'd like to see 258 Victoria retained. If a perfectly, handsome building needs to be torn down, then at least give us something spectacular to replace it. The current plan would be a step backwards to what is already there.
Very likely they'll be cut down. It's funny how stringent the city is about home owners cutting trees down on their own property, but when it comes to development it happens all the time.
