The only negative is the small kitchen.

Glas Condos (Lamb Developments) - Real Estate -

Good location, pathetic floorplan. And, there is a condo being built in front of it. Look around - you will likely find something a bit more exciting. And, a one-bedroom , no matter how small, is always better for re-sale.

City orders condo developers to buy annual metropass for every unit

A silly regulation. Again, Not everyone wants a Metropass. Perhaps the developer could, on its own, provide it as an incentive. Too force it on them (and the prospective buyer) is wrong.

Pre-Con Condo (sell or wait till closing)

If it is near the subway, it should be O.K., although you cannot expect the huge increases of the past few years. It seems like you got it at a good price, so maybe, just maybe, it will turn out to be an 'O.K.' investment/purchase.

Murano Condos (Lanterra Developments) - Real Estate -

Has anyone in this development raised their concerns to the developer ... ? Or, is it 'that is just the way it is in condos' mentality...? I would be most upset.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

With all the new condos coming on-stream within the next 12 - 18 months, things are going to get ugly In Toronto, particularly downtown. Those who are over-paying now for some of these pre-construction developments are going to get burned, especially if mortgage rates climb. Classic Bubble...

is this purchase a sensible/smart investment? cityplace montage

Some claim CityPlace will be a 'ghetto' in 5 - 10 years, a la St. JamesTown. I would see if you could find a nice condo elsewhere in the core, or even along the subway line.

    Real Estate Predictions

Suze Orman - the U.S. Financial Guru - says we won't be starting to even get out of this mess until 2015. She is a pretty savy cat. Therefore, I say in 2015 things will start to pick up, give or take a year. This truly is like nothing we have experienced in a lifetime.

Twenty Gothic (High Park, Monarch, 8s, &Co)

The developer is to be planting vines along the garage's facade (the podium, if you will), and, of course, the little plot of land immediately east of the building is to be re-developped into a parkette. Soooo Bloor West! (I.E.: Trees, trees, trees!).

    Monarch Group

They indicated that the Canadian arm is in good shape. Perhaps Tridel or Pemberton would be interested in taking them over. Time to scoop up a 'bargain' ?
