    Toronto 71 Talara Drive | 73.5m | 23s | Tribute | Turner Fleischer

I’m surprised the stretch of houses just east of the NY place towers have survived this long.

    Mississauga Square One District | ?m | 65s | Oxford Properties | Hariri Pontarini

Width of these roads look discouraging, not sure if the pedestrian realm will be as vibrant as advertised. Would one LRT line and the bus network be sufficient to service this neighbourhood?

    Toronto Scala | 61.57m | 18s | Tridel | Wallman Architects

This is impressive. There's real development opportunity along Leslie here between Shepherd and Finch (on the west side). I have to say though, it's a mistake for them not to include commercial spaces at the base of the property (or spaces that could be converted to commercial in the future as...

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

If this proposal makes it through in some shape or form resembling this, I hope it sets a precedent for future projects in the area to continue these laneways / mews.

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

I've always thought that the development of the Southern corners of Yonge and Bloor were an opportunity to create a new and expansive concourse level for the subway. I wonder if anything of that nature would make its way into this project?

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

I wouldn't be opposed to them building atop of the Dominion building if they designed the extension to look the exact same as the base (I.e used stone / same materials, carried over the design elements).

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

I hope so. I haven't warmed up to this latest iteration.

    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

Is it though? I've heard so many rumours to date. It's hard to believe this wasn't snatched up as soon as the boom began.

Toronto Station Condos on the Subway | 51.51m | 14s | Brandy Lane | CMV

That's a lot of empty space behind it.

What's the next phase after this? Edit: Found it. http://www1.toronto.ca/city_of_toronto/city_planning/community_planning/files/pdf/regentpark_contextplan.pdf

    Toronto Ten York Street Condos | 224.02m | 65s | Tridel | Wallman Architects

Weren't they started at roughly the same time?

    Toronto 55 Sheppard East | 45.41m | 14s

A heck of a situation no matter which way you slice it. My rationale for making that plot of land available has to do with its location relative to three subway stations. An argument can be made however that the Yonge subway line doesn't need the added traffic. This seems like a poor...

    Toronto Wellesley on the Park | 194.15m | 60s | Lanterra | KPMB

Great photos. I really hope that this kick starts a reformation of the Yonge and Wellesley intersection. That west side could use some work.

Toronto Five St Joseph | 160.93m | 48s | Five St. Joseph | Hariri Pontarini

I can't wait for the lane way retail this project is bringing in.

    Toronto 55 Sheppard East | 45.41m | 14s

Seems to me like someone dropped the ball a few years back. To be honest the cities strategy for the entire area has left me confused. I've always felt like they should have rezoned the whole suburban block east of Doris to Kenneth and from Finch south to Avondale, for mid to high rise development.

Toronto tower architecture insulted on NewYorkYimby.com

Toronto got mentioned in this little article on New York Yimby (one of New York's UrbanToronto equivalents). Is this the sort of impression our city has been leaving with architecture enthusiasts? Quote: Original article here.

    Toronto skyline

Here's my friends view looking North from Dundonald. You can see a bunch of the developments going on in the area. From left to right: 5 St. Joseph, U Condominiums, Nicholas Residences, One Bloor E, and X2. (Open image in a new tab to have a closer look)

Any word on the development status of the plot on the South West corner?
