Any news on when move-in begins for this project? They look to be doing outside work on the townhouse rooftop now. Anyone know how the townhouses look inside from plans etc? They look spacious from the design, but looks like you will be looking right across into the unit from you.

agreed - there is very little pedestrian traffic here to sustain much retail. i think the building design is intriguing, but the height makes it stick out rather unfortunately for the area. it must be close to move in by now?

Looks like they are finishing the units inside now with appliances , drywall etc- is there an eta on move ins?

It would be pretty interesting if the original empty theatre still existed underneath or behind whatever facade or storefront they put in there. If memory serves where I think the entrance was, there is a small variety shop there now. Who knows, maybe it's being used for storage by the Bay...

@Tulse Thanks for that - do you remember where the entrance was exactly? For some reason I can't recall where you entered, if it was across from the Shoppers Drug Mart, or down by the old Fabricland.

Anyone remember the Plaza (1 & 2) under the Bay at Yonge/Bloor. I have a vague recollection of it and it having steep stairs down, but cannot remember exactly where the entrance was when you come in down the stairs off Bloor. Did they just close it up and turn the entrance into a store? I'm...

@gregv Any ideas on when the planned completion date is? Last time I looked in, they were still digging foundation hole. Last thing I'd heard was occupation in early 2013.

Isn't Robards designed in the shape of a bird (Peacock or Swan etc)? If you look at it from an angle, you can see the neck shape and plummage. At least that's what a U of T grad student told me.

From what I've seen passing by the site, they've been spending a lot of time drilling holes around the perimeter and pour support pillars/beams.
