Just a few -- I think on Friday and Sundays - peak weekend trains to Montreal, I guess.

That absolute impulse to line up for assigned seating - it’s as if everyone is a newbie to VIA, or afraid they’ll fall asleep in the waiting area or something. I still find it odd.

The hoardings are mostly gone along the ramp from the Great Hall to the VIA Concourse. You can see down to the corridors leading from VIA toward the so-called Arrivals area and toward the supposed-to-be-called Front St Promenade. The tile ceilings above these corridors are amazing and the lamps...

I hope I didn’t miss something — where is the “Lower Great Hall?” After the covering above the ramp was cleared — where light now floods in — I began anew to anticipate the opening of the two areas on either side of the ramp. I can recall seeing blue/turquoise ceiling tile-work but I can’t...

I, for one, will need smelling salts if the Union threads are reconstructed. That said, I cannot contemplate the idea that track widths and therefore staircase locations would change after the concourses have just been rebuilt. Is this a real possibility within twenty years... or am I missing...

So, nothing on the status of the food market area below the VIA Concourse. Is it on time? Is there anything radical like an estimated opening date? The moat? And I wonder how many TV viewers understood what she meant by Bay Concourse— do many people, including regulars, use the building...

Please look at the proposed floor plan again. There seems to be some confusion here.

Yes, they are now boarded up in such a way that it prompted me to check the floor plan. Until this change I thought the closure was temporary and had somehow expected them to reopen.

Has it been noted that the doors between the “central” moat and the Front St Promenade have been blocked off? We’re talking the area between security and the Danish Pastry Hüs, at the base of the west-most stairs from the Great Hall (a ‘turning’ staircase omitted from the diagram). If this...

I presume Google Maps will only show a detailed map of the station (see the multi floor diagram of Eaton Centre) once construction is done. Pity. Openmaps...? Isn’t there precedent for internal mapping of British train stations, which can be convoluted even when not under renovation ?

What else would you put? Words to describe what the numbers are? I thought the train symbol got around the nomenclature problem as well as possible by avoiding track, gate or platform. The numbers may seem like excess data until you have read a departure monitor, determined your...

I just eyeballed it and things seem the same as the last few weeks, so let’s say no change since before Christmas. I spotted more of the metal detailing in the VIA Concourse, pretty well below the ramp from the Great Hall and near a former stair access to Platform 3. The newest addition is a...

On the retail mix of a future Bay Concourse, just note the branding of the existing Union Food Court. It ain’t called the York Concourse Food Court although of course anything can change. BTW Anyone spotted the futuristic wall mural next to the new full-service Tim’s and near the hidden...

Yes, these have been open some weeks, and I wonder if they get much traffic yet. They are mostly useful for a walking trajectory between the York Promenade ;-) and the tunnels under the York/Front intersection. Anyone have a clue how long away is an opening of the Front St moat east of these...

Osmington are assessing interest between retail and food, I imagine, but they seem to keep the general rental vision for Bay (and below the VIA Concourse) under the radar. Surprised no one here has posted any details yet. I understand there was a request to city council (which was approved...
