My nephew is a mole in Kerri Voumvakis' office on the 12th floor. Apparently the new massing is inspired by the human hand .... I can sorta see it. The draft logo isn't very welcoming but at the prices they'll be asking I can kinda understand:

They've reworked the tower, which is much thinner and taller (tops out @ 307.8572 metres)... now a largely residential building. There are still some issues to resolve around elevators: 1. where to actually put them 2. avoiding @ProjectEnd's derisive comments regarding cab to units ratio

It's pretty clear now that one local arch firm can not only design beautiful curved glass and other materials (across multiple projects)... those curves show up in the actual builds. Unfortunately Arcadis ain't HPA

I quite like the materials/building envelope on just one of these buildings... but 3 of them the same feels like over-kill imo. Wouldn't mind seeing some subtle variations on the theme for 2 of 'em.

Yeah this (like all) curtain-wall will obviously change depending on light conditions and angle of photos... but @tstormers chose a pov where it looked quite spectacular. tstormers The diamonds of CIBC Square are often stunning... but also flat and borderline unattractive from some...

I can't believe I'm writing this out loud about Kirkor... but I kinda like the podium and even the busy upper floors/tower crown. I realize when built/executed this will be a material mess, but hey Kirkor... this a historic moment in pictures for me. 🙃 Maybe I need to up my meds though.
