I hope the cost of this additional installation is coming from the glass manufacture and not out of the pocket of the condo corp.

I just received a letter from my Lawyer regarding 33 Singer Court. Looks like we're closing May 14. Not too bad.

OMG, ok, so I wasn't crazy to notice the intercom and remote on the wrong side of the garage entrance. I thought this was due to the Hong Kong builders that forgot they were building this in North America. I find it so dumb that I'm in building A, but on P3, which requires me to exit the...

If you already have a good variable speed drill that's fully charged with a masonry bit, you will be fine. If you're working on it during the evening you need a good work light. There isn't enough lighting in the living room area, and no lights in the bedroom. The likely mistake you would...

Walk over to Canadian Tire and grab a masonry drill bit. A bit that can drill through steel wont work on concrete. Plus you need to use force.

Wal-mart has cheap blinds. Well depends if you think $25 per sheet expensive. 2 is sufficient for the bedroom and I needed 3 for the living room in the 718ft unit.

Since the windows are floor to ceiling, you will need 92 - 95" blinds if your suite has 8ft ceilings. Just tie them off to the sides when they need to be open. They have this silly requirement that the outside has to be white. It's very hard to find reasonably priced blackout blinds that has...

Thank goodness Ikea and Canadian Tire are just steps away. I picked up the curtain rods and a mason bit for my drill and we were off to the races. Just had to use a lot of force to get the drill bit to go in. As for the light color exterior requirement... Forget that. Its impossible to find...

OK, anybody else running into problems installing blinds? I'm in building A, and the exterior windows are floor to ceiling. This requires curtain rods or tracks to be installed on the ceiling. I appear to have hit cement... I hope. Before I start leaving puncture holes all over the ceiling, has...

I think they have extra lockers for purchase. At $2500, why rent?

Do you mean rent one out, or rent one for use? I would imagine people would just post availability on a bulletin board in the building lobby. I think the going rate is around $200 a month.

Well, you're partially right. You will obviously make money on a sale, but you wont get a quick sale without lowering your ask. Starting in December, there where a lot of units up for sale, asking around $490/sqf with parking. Several units that haven't sold yet have already started creeping...

Parking + locker question. I took occupancy in December. Other than the lady that did my inspection writing my parking spot and locker number on the Tarion folder, I have no other confirmation. Does anybody else have the locker and parking number in their sales agreement? I asked someone at...

I would say it's approximately 3ft. I did not know about the universal accessibility. I just think it looks weird and I find it strange to reach down for a switch instead of in front. If all the other units were built this way, then I will accept it. If it was built for accessibility, it was...
