    Toronto Cinema Tower | 142.64m | 43s | Daniels | Kirkor Architects

Maybe "Internation Orange/Campbell's Soup" isn't a top favourite. I think there could be some appreciation that Cinema is not the twin of Festival. Or that the podium is at least different.

    Toronto Bathurst College Centre | ?m | 4s | RioCan | Turner Fleischer

Maybe Rio-Can is waiting for the right opportunity to make this into a residential/mixed use development? Just keeping the land empty costs money. But building a cheap new building could get a tenant that could generate revenue. OR Rio-Can could be building this so that it could receive a...

    Toronto TCHC Block 32 Development | ?m | 41s | TCHC | KPMB

Will this building help the future CityPlace buildings (Spectra, Quartz, etc) in terms of the vibrancy or excitement of the materials? I think CityPlace looks handsome.. and the TCHC is something that could only help improve on the future development of the neighbourhood.

Toronto Spectra at Concord CityPlace | 123.13m | 39s | Concord Adex | RAW Design

I find CityPlace to be very handsome. Personally, I think Concord wants their Signature Tower.. to be a Signature Tower. Which is why we have seen all the towers in CityPlace have a certain aesthetic.

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

This proposal can be worrying.. but I think its good to look at some of the deeper things about the waterfront: (1) WT has built a good standard of design. Sugar Beach and Sherbourne Common are a great precedence to have on the waterfront. People bring life to those projects. (2) CNE and...

    Toronto Market Wharf | 110.33m | 33s | Context Development | a—A

I just got back from the Netherlands like 2 weeks ago. Rotterdam is an architect's playground, it was interesting.

    Toronto 3C Waterfront | ?m | ?s | 3C Lakeshore | Foster + Partners

Ford isn't the brightest Mayor Toronto has had... but I don't think he will stand in the way of this at all. Look at the team, 3 developers, 3 architecture firms and Claude! This development will definitely stand as a precedent for the rest of the Lower Don Lands.

    Toronto Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto | 207.86m | 53s | Graywood | Kohn Pedersen Fox

    "10 Star" hotel. http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=592365 I think I'm happy with 5 stars.

This factory won't change a thing. For all we know there could be a functional reason that the factory must stay there. Maybe they aren't getting the price they want for their property yet. Or what if the land is contaminated.. many developers don't want to pay anymore than they need for a piece...

We also live in a world with 6 and 7 Star hotels.

Toronto and London Stock Exchanges to merge?

    Interesting, thank you.

Toronto and London Stock Exchanges to merge?

Whether you feel this is a benefit to Canada or not... I don't see it happening. This would be too much ammo for oppositions in Ontario and Canada, which is something Harper and McGuinty do not want to have to deal with. There is also the fact that Canadians generally do not accept foreign...
